This is a premiere trophy hunting guide service owned and operated by the outfitter and his wife. He is the head guide in charge of the operations where the rubber meets the road and his wife is in charge of the details. She keeps him organized and the business running smoothly. It's a joint effort.
When selecting their guide areas he seeks out exclusive federal concessions in Alaska that have very limited/controlled hunting.
It's his belief that a quality hunt can't be had where there is unrestrained competition from other hunters, be they Alaska residents
or non-residents on guided hunts. That's why his areas are chosen in such areas. He hunts places that are still like Alaska was in the good old days.
This trophy outfitter along with 1 or 2 carefully chosen assistant guides, personally guide every hunt. Each hunter is put in an excellent spot with an excellent guide. He will not tolerate any second rate performance when it comes to guiding hunts. It is
his honest belief that every hunter should receive 100% effort on the part of his guide. That's what puts this trophy outfitter in
the top 1% of the guiding profession in Alaska. When it comes to producing results season after season it takes a dedicated professional guide who won't surrender until he succeeds in what he is trying to accomplish.
Our outfitter has been searching for a large live-aboard yacht in
order to offer a better, more world class hunting experience for
their clients in their "Prince William Sound" concession. They
have finally purchased a 1985, 50 foot, Albin Yacht with three
state rooms, two full bathrooms with showers and tubs. It has
a full professional galley and a large lounge area. He now has
the ability to accommodate four hunters at a time in absolute comfort. No-where will you find a higher quality coastal trophy
black bear hunt. The number of bears, the quality of the hides,
the breath-taking fiord scenery and the accommodations are
the best possible. The hunting skiffs are specific purpose built
bear killing machines. They are operated by some of the best
bear guides in Alaska. They have a full time gourmet chef on
board for all hunts.
As always, logistics are completely uncomplicated and simple. Hunters arrive in Valdez VIA regular scheduled flight

Alaska Outfitter #2
This outfitter is now offering special Alaska black bear hunts in one of their
remote Talkeetna Mountain areas. Thanks to the high numbers of black bears
in their areas they are now offering two spring black bear hunts. The bag limit
set by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game is a generous three black
bears per year. Over the past couple of seasons they have had several hunts
where there have been multiple opportunities at bagging three black bears on
a seven day hunt.
Hunting spring black bears consist of glassing clearings and ridge lines for traveling bears. Late May and early June are prime times for the black bear breeding season, as a result of that the bears tend to travel more, making
them more vulnerable to hunters.
All of the hunts are conducted from comfortable tent camps, based on ridge tops and on lake shores. Black bear in this region of Alaska tend to be a glossy black and will range from 5 ½ foot to seven foot. A few bears over seven foot have been taken with
more being seen each year. Transportation from Anchorage, Alaska is included in the price as is all flying, meals, tents and the
trophy preparation of your bear and your return trip to Anchorage.
In the interest of staying as unique as possible, This outfitter decided to reformat their pricing options and hunt packages. These new options will allow for hunters to have more opportunity for their money and get a chance to enjoy Alaska like never before,
with out the worry of trophy fees for additional animals! Air charter, guide, food, tents and transportation from anchorage to the field and back is included in the price.
