Illinois Outfitter #1.....
This lodge is located in West Central Illinois, where they have over 3,000 acres
of privately owned ground available for their hunters to hunt on. This location gives
them a great diversity of hunting areas to pick from. From the Illinois River bottoms
to the timbered bluffs, they have some of the finest deer hunting anywhere in Illinois.
They offer archery, shotgun and muzzleloader hunts. Their archery hunts are semi guided and are 5 day hunts, from Oct. through Nov.
Their shotgun hunts are 3 days in November and also a 4 day hunt in December. Muzzleloader will be a 3 day hunt in December also. All their hunts include, lodging with home cooked meals at their newly remodeled hunting lodge. Their
guides will thoroughly familiarize you with your hunting areas and will assist you with your game. Tree stands will be provided, but you may bring one of your own if you wish to.The last season was once again a success. For the archery season 25 hunters harvested 18 bucks with a 150 class buck being the largest. Their first gun season had 22 hunters harvesting16 bucks in a 3 day period with the largest buck being a 200+ class bruiser. None of the bucks harvested
went below 125 class. The second gun season which is always a tougher season had 8 hunters harvesting 4 bucks in
four days with the largest buck scoring 168.
