We are offering these Maine black bear hunts that are located in down east Maine, and is surrounded by wild, blue berry barrens, and natural forest lands. The outfitter is offering high quality Maine black bear hunts over bait and leases thousands of acres of land to ensure low pressure hunting and high success rates. All baits have produced quality bears every year and they are always in pursuit of more hunting areas.
The lodging will be in either their log cabins or cottages featuring a full kitchen, living room, dining area and bathroom with a hot shower.bed linens, towels, cookware, utensils, gas grills and outside fire pits provided.Group and family hunts welcome. Hunters can fill their days by fishing, four wheeling, site seeing or simply relaxing at camp. Clients will be guided to an active bait sites in
the early afternoon and back to camp at dark. They have a low client to guide ratio to provide the best quality black bear hunting..
This fully guided hunt includes: Lodging in lake side cabins, all meals prepared, and served to you, guiding to and from active bait site, bear recovery cutting, wrapping of meat, and trophy preparation. T here will be a welcoming fresh, seafood dinner the
night of arrival, including lobster, steamers and fresh blueberry pie. They will provide
single and two-man metal tree stands, and their guests are welcome to bring their
own stands if desired. The guests are welcome to bring their own boats, canoes, or whatever else makes them comfortable. The bass fishing is great on Bog Lake and several of the other lakes close by. All activities other than hunting are unguided.
They use game cams and trail timers throughout the baiting season. This allows them to
gather information on what time bears are hitting bait sites, and their approximate sizes.
Bangor International Airport and the Grey Hound bus station are only one and a half hours away (90 miles).Transportation shuttle services are available from the Bangor International Airport to their lodge. There is a $250.00 round trip fee and will be split between all hunters being shuttled.
The spring hunts will take place on Passamaquoddy Indian territory on the Indian Township reservation. This historic hunt will only be available to a minimal amount of hunters throughout the world. There has not been a Spring black bear hunt in Maine until 1981.
Their spring bear hunts have produced the largest black bear taken in Maine for the
spring of 2007 and 5 of the top 7 largest black bear taken in Miane for spring of 2007

* This hunt will be based out of their Northfield camps and Porter Point camps on Nicatous Lake in Township 3.

Price includes the $300 license/permit fee to hunt on Passamaquoddy land.
A State of Maine hunting license and a bear permit are *NOT* required.

Semi-Guided Package: The semi-guided hunting package is a more "do it yourself hunt." They accept a group
of 3-4 hunters per week. They provide you with maintained active bait sites for the week. You drive yourself to your
stand each day and bait the site prior to hunting. You will be provided with lodging on the lake but meals are not
included. Your cabin will have a full kitchen to prepare your meals and a grocery store is located in Machias, 12
miles from camp.
Lodging: Their guests enjoy lakeside lodging on crystal clear Bog and Fulton lakes for 7 nights. All your bed
and bathroom linens are provided. Every cottage and cabin have electricity and a full bathroom with hot shower.
Upon Arrival: A guide will transport you to the hunting grounds and show you your active stand. He will discuss
bear movement for the area and proceed to show you how to replenish your bait site. Each day of the hunt you are responsible for driving yourself to and from your stand and replenishing the bait site with the bait they provide.
Bear Recovery and Care: Upon shooting your bear you can reach a guide by radio or cellular phone. They provide
tracking and recovery, game care, game transportation and registration, skinning, and quartering. They will help you arrange butchering services if desired. They own plot hounds for tracking wounded bear which significantly increases recovery percentages.
Hide and Meat Care: To ensure proper and safe care of your harvested bear they have their own walk in cooler and freezers. This keeps your bear at the correct temperatures to prevent hair slippage of the hide prior to taxidermy and
your bear meat from spoiling.
