Montana Outfitter #1
8X8 381 Class B&C Bull
This outfitter offers Montana elk hunts as a 4th generation guide.
This is a family ran business. They have a first class, camp and hunting area and "Specialize" in guided, trophy elk hunts.
They operate the kind of backcountry, operation that you can feel comfortable bringing your family to.This is an area you can come
to and experience some of the real West. You will not stay in a
nicer camp and camp setting.
Their early bugle rifle elk hunting season starts September 13th and runs into October. This is an excellent time for trophy elk hunting from the huge Northern Yellowstone elk herd, the greatest in the world. These elk use this area as a corridor leading from the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness into Yellowstone National Park and back into Montana. Their camp maximizes on this natural "migratory" route.
This area's blessed with some of most pristine, unaltered wilderness
areas in the northwest. The huge, Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness is
a huge Federally protected area encompassing approximately 2.5
million acres. Their area is prime big game country including Grizzly
Bear, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, Mountain Goat and Big Horn Sheep.
They only take a limited number of hunters to insure the quality of your hunt. This is an important thing to ask or find out when booking a hunt.
You will enjoy their first class camp.Trophy fly fishing and bull elk hunting are basically available out your front door.
You will be in the heart of big bull elk country. They are located one mile from the Yellowstone National Park boundary.
The early season elk hunts start Sept. 13th and run through Oct.14th. They run 7-day hunts back to back.
Camp accommodations consist of spacious canvas wall tents. The sleeping tent
is equipped with cots, foam rubber, wood stoves and even carpet on the floor. A
solar bag shower house is available for your convenience. Home cooked delicious meals are served daily in the dining tent with nice table and chairs. A camp tender
will be on duty too.The cook is clean and everything is kept clean.

This outfitter specializes in Montana elk hunts for rifle, archery
and muzzleloader enthusiasts. Located in eastern Montana, this outfitter's hunts take place on private property and the Lewis and
Clark National Forest in central Montana, offering hunters a high percentage of success in taking a true trophy animal.
You will be staying right at the ranch house with the outfitter. You
will have hot showers and eat home style, meals with their family.
For those wanting to stay closer to the night-life, a newer local
motel and restaurants are also close at hand for your use, if you

Hunts take place on the Lewis and Clark National Forest Lands as well as some bordering private ranches. The terrain varies from rolling hills, grasslands, creek bottoms to heavy timbered mountains with semi open parks. Hunting is done with the aid of 4x4 trucks, 4 wheelers and hiking. Archery elk season is in Sept. with heavy timber, good populations
of elk and the rut, high opportunities and success are available. Rifle elk season is the last week of October and all of November. The first three weeks of season is antlered bulls only and the last week is either sex for elk. Hunters who are
12-14 years old may hunt either sex elk all season long. We offer half price hunts for these young hunters, making this
an excellent daughter or son hunt with parents.
The use of private property, 4-wheel drive trucks, the preseason scouting, their knowledgeable guides, all the plentiful game, and the
kind of country they hunt, makes most of their hunts not very physically demanding. They have guided clients in their teens to in their 70's and have had very good success.
Anyone that is under the age of 18, must submit proof, verifying they have completed a safe handling, firearms course. Anyone having special needs will be matched with the right guide so their hunt can be geared to accommodate them

Montana Outfitter #3
T hese Montana elk hunts are 5 day, base camp hunts, that take
place on majestic, "Emigrant Peak" in the Absaroka Mountain range.
This professional guide knows this area very well with being a fourth
generation Montanan. His great grandparents were instrumental in the
settling of "Paradise Valley".
Their hunting is located in the middle of the Paradise Valley, through
which the Yellowstone River flows and it is bordered by the
"Absaroka-Beartooth" Wilderness to their east and the
"Gallatin National Forest" to the west.
They usually take 2 hunters per 5-day hunt. This is an old west style hunt and they abide by all fair chase ethics. You
stay at their home with a comfortable bed, separate bathroom, and hot shower. The hunt also includes home cooked
meals in the morning and evening and a nutritious lunch packed for you to take to the hunting site.
They use only gentle guest horses and mules for their clients to reach the
prime hunting areas. From there they will hunt on horses, mules or on foot
depending upon the game location. This allows them to carefully glass the hunting area in hopes of finding that trophy bull elk.
Their success over the years has not only been measured in the consistent harvest of fine game animals, but also in their client's memories and their satisfaction with all their efforts during each hunt to make their experience memorable as well as successful.
